EMBL-ABR/ELIXIR/CyVerse workshop: Registries in Bioinformatics
The workshop will provide a forum to discuss pros and cons as well as general best practices when it comes to registries. It will also offer a hands on session on submission (content upload), dissemination (content pull) and visualisation. The final session will be a writing activity: based on the experience gained through the day, participants and faculty will write a review of existing registries, a guide for how to use registry information and summarise the next challenges.
