Join us for an open project meeting and networking event hosted by the German Competence Center Cloud Technologies for Data Management and Processing (de.KCD) at the annual de.NBI and ELIXIR-DE All Hands Meeting in Berlin. This event provides you the opportunity to gain first-hand insights in our ongoing work, connect to current strategic considerations for knowledge transfer and contribute to the future direction of our project.

As de.KCD we aim to systematize and share the unique competence of the de.NBI community in cloud based data management across different sites and disciplines. We want to increase visibility and spread knowledge about scalable cloud data infrastructure for institutions and networks as well as for researchers at all career levels in different research domains. By developing concrete, widely applicable and sustainable solutions for common challenges in cloud based teaching, we also hope to support your day-to-day work and strategic developments within the de.NBI community.

In this meeting, we will present updates on our recent initiatives, including first findings on needs assessment surveys, sustainable training material life-cycle management and pre-configured self-learning environments. Attendees will have the chance to share their own needs and ideas, helping us shape our strategic direction for the next two years. Additionally, this event offers a valuable networking opportunity to discuss collaborative efforts, particularly in relation to other National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI) initiatives. We’re eager to hear your feedback and insights to ensure to cater to the needs of the community.
