Intended outcomes of the workshop:

Increased social capital across ELIXIR in the area of impact evaluation and environmental impact;
Improved skills and knowledge in impact evaluation, obtained through formal training, knowledge-exchange, as well as hands-on practical exercises, customised to the needs and interest of research infrastructures; 
Increased understanding of environmental issues of relevance to Nodes and how the carbon footprint can be assessed.

Participants are strongly encouraged to familiarise themselves, prior to the workshop, with ELIXIR’s key impact-related resources, which include a Toolkit, an Annotated bibliography and a List of indicators.
