The ELIXIR Single-Cell Omics 2024 F2F will take place from Monday lunchtime on 16 September to Tuesday lunchtime on 17 September. It will be a hybrid meeting, with the F2F component taking place at CSC in Espoo, Finland. 

The meeting will have a strong focus on Community activities as well as ongoing activities in the Implementation Study (SCONE). It will include presentations, workshop style sessions and participant engagement. 

There is a limit on in-person attendees, but no-limit on virtual participant numbers. Selected invited participants will receive funding to attend the meeting. Details regarding funding and reimbursement will be shared after registration. Please do not book any travel until after you hear from us.

Travel and venue

Venue: CSC - IT Center for Science, Life Science Center, Keilaranta 14, Espoo, Finland. For arrival instructions, please see https://csc.fi/en/about-us/contact-information/#our-address. Go to the reception and get your name tag. Wait at the lobby and Eija will take you for lunch at the restaurant next to the lobby. The actual meeting takes place in the meeting room Nuuksio, in the C building.

Travel: Travelling from the airport takes about 20 minutes by taxi and one hour by public transport. If you attend the ECCB conference after the annual meeting, there is a train to Turku which takes less than two hours. 

Once notified about your attendance by the ELIXIR Hub, you will need to make your own travel and accommodation arrangements to the venue. Reimbursement information will be shared with invited attendees after their successful registration.

    Please register by 28 July to be informed about acceptance and funding of your participation at the end of July, else you will only hear from us after the final deadline.
